  1. Pushing and pulling (functional flex and ext) resist bands

really could use a few more functionally postured protective shoulder exercises that do not overly challenge the shoulders tender or worn mm as much. Pushing from door knob a resistive band in each hand from a bent elbow near the side and up a bit similar to a reach foreward or 90 degrees (or 80) and also a pulling version similar to this but starting with elbow extended and bending it as they come back with slight (35-40 degrees) abduction. With pulling letting the elbow be bent as they come back to just past there side. Both of these need…

individual videos for each of the aforementioned upper extremity nerve glides. (we have patient hand outs for these if this would help you to make the videos:)

Intrinsic plus (mcp flexed and IP extended) and extension
also nice to have isolated FDS tendon glides as option too.

          • May the print outs have the option for using only one large picture?

Our patients get overwhelmed by too much information. Could we have the option to only display the key picture of the exercise on the print out enlarged? it would be helpful as well as limit the amount of text and possibly be able to increase font size.

            • I see so many opportunities for inpt setting!

              1. Get the exs (custom developed by the therapist) on the pt's TV in their room
              2. Develop a category for "positioning" - while this is not an "exercise" per se, it is crucially important for some pt populations (stroke) during their early stages of recovery. This video would be instructional for the caregivers: nursing/HCA's, family.
              3. We could create some great educational/instructional videos for nursing/HCA's on mobility. It would be accessible to them whenever needed and would improve our efficiencies by saving time providing live inservices.
              4. If we ever did get it on the pt's TV, it would…

                • Could exercises be grouped via body part or type of therapy? I'm feeling overwhelmed.SH

Toss each exercise into a category vs listing all of them. That'd make it a ton quicker to create exercise programs.

Thanks for your feedback! Right now, on the Create Programs page, users can search for exercises a few different ways.

First, they can use one or more of the checkboxes on the left hand side of the screen, to search for exercises by Body Area, Equipment, Position, or Type. Users can also type a word in to the Search box to look for specific exercises. Regarding adding a search criteria for type of therapy, it’s a good idea, and one we’ll look in to adding.

If you’re still having difficulty, we’d love for you to contact us directly, so that we can give you personalized support. Just contact us at info@homestretchhealth.com, or at 855-852-4400.

Thank you for the suggestions. If we can get some more specifics, we’d love to use this to improve your search experience.
